Don’t be ashamed if you haven’t found a S/S ’15 coat. I also haven’t found one yet. While a lot of fashionistas already have their coat in their closet since January, this article is for people like me. People who haven’t found a jacket yet even when the season already begun. We are so late in fashion time (oops...). But remember the season is still on for another 5 months.
The nice thing about being late is the fact that we can take a closer look at the trends. We can eliminate the things that aren’t that pretty as in the magazines and the things everybody already has. Maybe it’s time for all of you to do something different.
Try a thing that not all of your friends, family or colleges have. If you don’t feel like taking risks; remember that you can never go wrong with some basics. A nice jacket in leather or jeans for example. They are an absolute must and are so easy to combine. And for the ones who dare: go for the pieces with a special touch… We can’t forget the trench coat that knows a great revival this season (it’s just so classy). For the pastel lovers: don’t worry they are still here. Sorry pastel haters if I have to disappoint you. Further on you still have a variety of cuts, colours and materials. Remember to choose one that really fits you! A lot of times it’s the only garment (apart from your pants and shoes…) people see. I have chosen some jackets that are perfect for a last minute choice.
So there is only one question left to ask: are you a last-minute follower or not? Like I already said: I am!
