When you think about spectacular fashion shows, you have to think of Chanel. Every time Karl Lagerfeld manages to surprise us with a new and original setup. We have already had a supermarket, casino, brasserie or a manifestation and now it was all about the airport.

I really like the idea, because ‘airport-fashion’ is something very difficult, especially for celebrities. Karl said that he wanted to create a fun and relax airport so travelling by airplane becomes a pleasure.
As usual we see a lot of tweed co-ords. They are a bit reinvented because of lines that you can see in the fabric. I like the hats that are made in the exact same fabric.
Apart from the tweed, you can also see a lot of crazy colours. Together with the crazy silhouettes and layering they give you the ‘Chanel’ feeling. The diagonal stripes make me think of the airplane seatbelts.
But I must say I am not running wild about the collection. Don’t get me wrong: the tailoring amazes me, but there are quite a few looks I don’t really like. However that's still my opinion.
I am for example not a fan of the styling. I especially don’t like the futuristic shoes and sunglasses.
But there’s one thing that I really don’t like: the white socks in the sandals. It has always been a no-no and it remains one for me. Even Karl Lagerfeld can’t make it cool. A little crash in the show in my opinion.
At the end Cara Delevigne came up and she actually wore my favourite outfit. What a gorgeous jacket! I would straight away add it to my wardrobe.
In the end I liked the collection, but, as every collection of every brand, I had (quite) a few looks I didn’t like. The white socks kind of ruined it, but luckily there were still a lot of other looks I liked.
