TRENDmas #Day4: DUNGAREES

The fourth day of TRENDmas is all about dungarees. It’s personally one of my favourite garments of the year/all time. They are never ‘out of style’, but every now and then they now a little revival. 2015 was one of those years, because they were everywhere.

You can see a lot of long overalls, paired with a pair of heels. But also the shorter ones with either shorts, or either a skirt are popular. The ones in black jeans make it look a bit more chic.

The fun thing about dungarees is all the options you have with them and how different you can make them look every single time. The overalls are mainly in jeans, so you can go wild with the rest. I personally love to wear something colourful under it, with either a short or long sleeve. To me are converse and dungarees a match made in heaven. It looks so casual and effortless, but still has a nice flow to it.

If you feel like long overalls look too masculine or clumsy, I have some little tips. Opt for an overall with good-fitting trousers; this makes a huge difference. You can also roll the trousers up or where a pair of heels with them. Don’t forget some nice accessories and you have a killer outfit!
