TRENDmas #Day12: LEATHER

Leather, leather, leather it was literally everywhere in 2015. From accessories and shoes to trousers and tops. There weren’t any boundaries.

I will start with my favourite use of leather: handbags and shoes. I love the feel of real leather. Yes a real leather handbag costs quite a lot, but to me it’s worth the investment. If you are tired of the 'regular' handbag, try a leather backpack. You will be surprised how you long you can use it compared to the ones in fake leather. It’s the same case for shoes. Shoes are already one of the most sensitive garments and it’s so important that you always opt for a solid pair.

So far my favourite leather styles… I have to admit that I don’t like leather trousers or skirts. For some reason I feel like they look a bit cheap, even when they cost a lot. Leather details on sweaters, shirts, blouses can be fun and playful. I think this is a good way to add some extra leather to your outfit. You also go for a nice leather jacket. I think this is one of the most time-less pieces. Once you have it, you never want to miss it again.
