TRENDmas #Day1: ADIDAS

Hi everyone! So today I am starting my new series: Trendmas. I will be publishing a new article every day until the 31st January. Every article consist of a letter of the alphabet, that letter is the first letter of one of the big trends of 2015. I hope you like it so let’s kick the series of with the A.

This was a no-brainer to me: Adidas. The brand knocked all the other sneaker brands out of the park. It was just incredible how much people had a pair of the brand this year. The Stan smith and Superstars were the most common, but Gazelle also knew a big revival.

Did I like this trend? Not really. Did I hate it? Not really. The sneakers aren’t ugly or something, but I just don’t like it when everybody wears the same clothes or shoes. This was the case with Adidas: everybody has them and with everybody, I really mean everybody. I always try to wear original and unique clothes, so I didn’t feel the need to buy myself a pair. I still applause all the peole who choose a mire unique pair, instead of the classic white ones.

When it comes to combining, they are really easy. You can wear them with a skirt, dress, short, a pair of trousers or even a maxi skirt. It works with almost everything, so that wont be a problem!

This was definitely one of the biggest trends this year. I just think that because they were so popular everybody is sick of them now. I wonder what shoes will replace them next year…
